NIGHTLETTERS

The piece from which the company takes it's name, "Nightletters", premiered at 80 Langton Street in San Francisco in 1980. The play takes place in a woman's dream. She receives letters from her father and brother addressed to names not her own. A moustache man haunts her while a man and a woman sit in her closet playing chess with doll furniture. Eventually she finds her way into her looking glass where she exchanges places with her mirror self.
