THE WAITING ROOM
is a theatrical performance piece about the nature of freedom, mortality, memory, and the strange logic of dreams, where the characters are set afloat inĀ a maze of primitive psychic urges, and nothing is quite what it appears. A convict dreams his way out of his cell; a seance becomes a public execution; a defunct cellist resuscitates in time to play a solo ; people waiting for organ transplants engage in a surrealistic game of cards in an attempt to summon the spirit world.
